Our main topics are active tourism, nature tourism, mountain bike tourism and bicycle tourism.

Tanja Brunnhuber

Expert of tourism marketing and tourism strategy. 
Areas of expertise: Stakeholder management, visitor management, bicycle and mountain bike tourism.

Tanja has a geography graduate (University of Trier) and develops sustainable tourism concepts with her company destination to market, always keeping the focus on people. Before founding her company, she held management positions at the international tourist boards Visit Finland and Tourism Australia, among others.

Since 2013, she has been active with destination to market for a variety of destinations and specialises in tourism strategy, expert facilitation, stakeholder management and project management. Her speciality is nature and active tourism.

Tanja Brunnhuber's expertise, empathic strength and competence in dealing with heterogeneous groups comes into play especially when it comes to imparting knowledge, taking the perspectives of the parties involved, making hardened fronts workable and bringing everyone along in more complex subject areas such as active and mountain bike tourism. This is shown by the projects around the topic of mountain bike tourism and visitor guidance, but also by the development of the umbrella brand Zugspitz Region, which was created after only 1.5 years in a very heterogeneous environment.

In her private life, Tanja Brunnhuber is in the mountains as much as possible - hiking, mountain biking, skiing, ski touring and cross-country skiing. Her favourite holiday destination is therefore the Alpine region - but closely followed by Sardinia, where the combination of mountains and sea fascinates her anew every year.
